I'm Brent, a Software Engineer at Nextdoor on the Feed Infrastructure team.

Previously, I've worked at JP Morgan Chase on the Consolidated Risk team and Google on the Assistant on Auto team. During college, I also worked as an Software Development Engineer Intern at Amazon, and have contributed to various research projects at CMU within the HCII Department.

I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2021 with a major in Information Systems, and an additional major in Human-Computer Interaction. My interests lie in the intersection between HCI and Artificial Intelligence. Specifically, how we can use the capabilities of AI to empower our daily lives and environments.

I love to research and code, looking for new technologies to solve problems and explore interesting ideas, but also using existing technologies to do the same.

In my free time, I enjoy running, boxing, looking for new restaurants, and (attempting) tiktok dances 😉
